Hello CEO of the World!! It’s been a minute since I blog! I’ve been busy as well as marketing AnyEvent.
So much has happen since the last time I BLOG!! We have an African American President. The country is stated to be headed for a depression and millions of people are out of work.. When I hear and see things like this it remains me that I can only look for a solution, not worry about the problem God is in control!!!..
As a CEO I had to step up my marketing plan and increase AnyEvent’s awareness. I stop trying to do business in my own neighborhood, and decided to go to someone else’s!!! Meaning, I had to get out side the comfort of my back yard and walk down someone else’s street.
When I first started AnyEvent I made a list of all the people and clients I wanted to do business with. I reviewed the list two weeks ago and realized I had not done business with any of the names on the list.. I made contact, trying to get to them, but have not done business with them. What do I do..go the door, knock and request that the door be open. With God, Faith and perseverance!!! I can do anything!! What about you?
Here are some steps I plan to take going to the next level with AnyEvent!!
1. Pray Daily
2. Review my marketing budget and Marketing plan.
3. Contact my PR friend and ask for some advise on going to the next level with AnyEvent
4. Contact friends and family to remind them “Hey I’m still in Business”
5. Read about my industries more!
6. Create an Affirmation to keep me focus.
7. Surround my elf with positive CEO and people

My First Blog!

This is my first blog! I’m excited about “TRYING” to communicate with other CEO! I hope we can encourage each others as well as inspire each others as we growing our business or move forward in our careers!

As an Event Planner and CEO of my own business I have the choice to begin each day with “The Word”, that’s the Word of God!

Being CEO is not easy as much as it is rewarding. I can’t imagine myself getting paid for what I enjoy doing, helping others and partying!!! At time, I seek other sisters and brothers CEO for advice in running a business. Sometime I get it, sometimes I don’t, and when I don’t, it makes me work harder to go further in growing my business!

Each week I will share with you words of Encouragement as you to begin your day as a CEO of your business.

This week business tip!

Now that you have reviewed your business plan what have you learned?

Are you where you need to be in business? Do you need to hire help or let go of help? What about your technology? Press Release? Who knows you’re in business?
These are elements of your business plan. Growing your business will take form when you take a look at all these items. You must stay on top when it comes to technology, and your industry. Each Morning after prayer and devotion, I look at my calendar and Outlook to see what is on my agenda. Each Monday I catch up on Emails, Tuesday I contact my clients and trying finding new ones I’m calling and making appointment to visit venues; Wednesday I’m visiting venues; and Thursday I setting appointments to visit venues for the up coming week. Friday I’m wrapping things up. You have to plan out your week to makes things happen.

I belong to a business network and a business alliance. These organizations I use to network and to have someone to hold me accountable to my business. I research all kinds of free business networking groups so that I can talk with people on what they are doing in their business. Daily I read information about my industry; I’m checking my website and responding to business emails. All this helps me in growing my business. I not where I want to be, but I believe in my heart I’m headed in the right direction. I know that it takes time.
This week I encourage you to focus on the basic.. As you do, so will I. Begin again, fresh new. This will help us to focus on what important.. Our passion!!!
